Known for their high-energy and strong harmonies, The 19th Street Band brings together a constellation of Americana, hillbilly, gypsy-rockin’, good time music sure to captivate every crowd. This joyous group consists of husband-wife duo Caolaidhe, pronounced “Cally”, (guitar/harmonica/vocals) and Meghan Davis (fiddle/mandolin/vocals) with the rockin’ rhythm section of Chris Brown (bass) and Patty Dougherty (drums).
Their newest album, Near Perfect, has received air play on radio stations throughout the UK, including BBC Radio and is receiving rave reviews from all the leading music magazines throughout the UK and Ireland.

The 19th Street Band has entertained crowds at US festivals such as DelFest, Charm City Bluegrass Festival, National Cherry Blossom Festival, The Washington Folk Festival, Iowa Irish Festival, and Maryland Irish Festival. Overseas, they have been featured as a regular artist at the Open House Festival in Bangor, Northern Ireland and the Dunmore East Bluegrass Festival in Co. Waterford and recently showcased at Your Roots Are Showing in Killarney. The band tours Ireland/UK every year and brings 40+ American fans along for the ride. This year they will be rocking their ‘Baps to Baguettes’ Tour from Belfast to France.

Special guests for the Empire show will be Revue, a rising Belfast 5-piece indie-folk band. They came together initially to reimagine old jazz & blues songs and honed their live performance in Speakeasies and dancehalls. Following a run of singles and an EP, they released their debut album of original music ‘Why Can’t You Stay’ in 2023.
The album received support and acclaim from Hotpress, RTE, the Arts Council NI and other national and international radio stations and publications. The band have headlined shows for Output and the Sounds of Belfast festivals, performed at the Atlantic Sessions, Your Roots Are Showing in Kerry, the Roi d’Arthur festival in Brittany and toured in Ireland, Wales, England and France.
